A Note From Greg Shine | Managing Director

I’ve been where you are. I know what it takes to build a business in the wire harness industry, having done it myself. Over the course of 35 years, I built and exited both a value-added distributorship and a manufacturing company. I understand the sacrifices, the tough decisions, the weight of responsibility, and the pride that comes from creating something real.

When it came time to sell, I realized just how personal and complex that decision truly is. It’s not just about valuation, it’s about timing, legacy, and finding the right path forward. That experience reshaped my perspective on the M&A process and led me to join Blue Valley Capital as a Senior Advisor.

Founded in 2003 by Loren Smith, Blue Valley Capital has earned a long-standing reputation for integrity, clarity, and hands-on guidance. After years of working alongside Loren and supporting owners through successful exits, I made the decision to acquire the firm and continue its mission.

Today, I bring both the perspective of an owner and the discipline of an advisor to every engagement. At Blue Valley, we work exclusively with business owners. That means we take the time to understand your operations, your goals, and what’s truly at stake. We don’t generalize, we specialize.
